After completing the Dance Factory Full Time Performance Art Course Yvette has enjoyed a diverse career working in all facets of the entertainment industry.
Yvette is a Professional Dancer and Choreographer. As a performer, her theatre credits include ‘How to Succeed in Business’ (Production Company), ‘Don Giovanni’ (VSO) the world premiere of ‘Dusty: The Original Pop Diva’ (Dance Captain for Dusty Productions) and ‘Shout! the Legend of the Wild One’ (Dance Captain for TML Productions) . Television Performance credits include GTV 9’s ‘Starstruck’ (principal dancer) ‘The Footy Show’,’ Abba Mania’, ‘Rove Live’, ‘Raw FM’, ‘Good Morning Australia’ & the ‘TV Week Logie Awards’.
As a choreographer her Film credits include Ricki Lee film clips, ‘Can’t Sing a Different Song’ as well as the smash hit ‘Can’t touch It’(Shock Records & Video Remix by Ministry of Sound U.K). Deni Hines, film clips include ‘Son of a Preacher Man’ & ‘Water for Chocolate’, and for Stephen Spielberg, the highly acclaimed ‘The Pacific’ due for release in 2009. For television credits include ‘2008 ARIA Awards’(Channel 10), ‘So You Think You Can Dance Greece’(Mega TV), ‘Australia Day Live Concert at Parliament House’(GTV 9) ‘Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards’(07 & 08), ‘Comedy Inc’.(GTV 9) ‘Neighbours’ (Channel 10) as well as ‘The Wiggles’, a Walt Disney Special Event for the Disney Channel.
Her theatre chorographic credits include, ‘The History Boys’ (MTC) and, in her capacity as Assistant to Choreographer Ross Coleman, ‘Sweet Charity’ (Production Company) ‘Dusty: The Original Pop Diva’ &’ Shout’.
Yvette’s choreographic credits for live events encompass Ricki Lees ‘Brand New Day’ National Tour, Tim Campbell’s ‘Retro Experience’ at the Crown Palms, ‘Mamma Mia the Movie Launch’, the 2007 ‘A.P.E.C. World Leaders Summit’, choreographer to Deni Hines & Dancers at ‘Mercedes Fashion Week’, ‘Nike’, ‘New Balance’ & ‘Diadora’ Seasonal Dance Parades, ‘WPT World Championships’ at Crown Casino and Arena Spectaculars including Armin Van Buurin’s ‘White Party’ & ‘Imagine’ Tours, ‘Winter Sound System’ and ‘Gods Kitchen’(Future Entertainment). She also choreographed seasonally for Walt Disney Special Events touring shows through Hong Kong, India, Singapore, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia and China.
