Barbara Warren-Smith

Barbara Warren-Smith is one of Australia’s most respected and dynamic teachers. From an illustrious performing career spanning ballet, musical theatre, and television she has gone on to become an icon of jazz dance – her expertise is in constant demand, be it as a teacher, choreographer or adjudicator. Barbara Warren-Smith not only danced on all the television networks but was a regular assistant choreographer and choreographer and continues to choreograph for a wide variety of projects both nationally and overseas. Since 1987 has been a lecturer at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and has recently travelled to the United States as choreographer of the Australian Girls Choir where she also took personal time to research and reinvigorate her own skills.
