Meg Hoult

Meg’s professional performing career commenced over ten years ago with the role of Belle in a touring pantomime production of “Beauty & The Beast” in the United Kingdom (2000). This experience prompted her to follow her dream and pursue a career in acting.

She returned to Australia to study Music Theatre at the National Theatre Drama School (2002) and went on to complete her Bachelor of Arts (Drama) at Monash University. During this time, she created the role of Herta in the world premiere of Craig Christie’s, “The White Rose” (2003) including a short season in Singapore, and performed in “Eurobeat – the Eurovision Musical” (2003) in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. She also hosted ‘Wiggles’ concerts (Entertainment Store), worked in Theatre Restaurant and toured in ‘Theatre-in-Education’ (No Mates).

In 2007, Meg understudied Marina Prior and Lucy Maunder in “Harp On The Willow” at the Comedy Theatre in Melbourne (Malcolm Cooke & Ensemble Productions). Other career highlights include “It’s Only Life” featuring John Bucchino (Stella Entertainment/DTM, 2011), the Australian Premiere of “The Shakespeare Revue” (Adam Lowe Group, 2010), a regional tour of “Sylvia Plath – The Girl Who Wanted To Be God” (New Performance Company, 2010), ‘Lead Singer’ in the inaugural cast of Pacific Dawn (2007-2008), twelve months performing at Universal Studios in Japan (2005), and the National and Asian tours of “Eurobeat – Almost Eurovision” for Glynn Nicholas Group (2006-2010).
