Due to the quality of its teachers, a strong emphasis on performance and Dulcie Lee’s direction and attention to detail and technique, Dance Factory students have found their place throughout the West End, Broadway, Asia and virtually every major musical production in Australian theatre, whilst many of Australia’s leading choreographers and teachers are graduates of the Dance Factory’s full time courses.

Dance Factory has been delivering accredited courses, VCE Dance and VET Dance for over 35 years.

Our courses also include teaching and choreography studies, which has allowed many of our graduates to gain teaching employment at most major dance schools in Victoria as well as nationally and internationally. Alternatively many have opened their own dance schools.

For new schools we prefer commencing at cert II and/or cert III for the first year unless they have had prior experience under another RTO.

DELIVERY

No need to become an RTO, (Registered Training Organisation). Dance Factory will act as your RTO under an auspice agreement.

To deliver the course at your school you must have:

adequate dance space and facilities
a trainer and assessor with a TAE qualification and industry knowledge in the vocation of dance

A dance school can arrange with Dance Factory to deliver the program, where the school can demonstrate access to suitable staffing, facilities and resources.

All schools will need to provide evidence of AQTF compliance for a program to be auspiced by Dance Factory.

Other delivery: arrangements can be provided at an additional cost. For example, Dance Factory can provide teachers and or assessors to the dance school.

If you are unable to deliver the course at your school and have students interested in dance, Dance Factory also offers these courses at their Richmond studios.
